Answer:

False

Explanation:

A User Authentication is a process in which you verify that someone who is attempting to access services and applications is who they claim to be. This can be accomplished through a variety of authentication methods, such as entering a password into your laptop or phone or a PIN number into the ATM. Authentication is essential when you have content that you wish to protect and provide only to specific, approved clients.

Which is an advantage of a computer network?
stealth61 [152]
The answer is "networks allow computer to connect quickly and to share data or equipment". This is true because with a commuter network you can instantly share files to all the other computer by putting them of the network file storage center. This also allows multiple pieces of equipment to be used to complete one task that would usually take longer if a single computer did it

A computer has been stored, uncovered, in a dusty closet for several months. Why might this situation cause the operating system
Nezavi [6.7K]

Answer: ....

Dust and debris can cause performance deterioration.

Explanation:

Dust is a problem from the standpoint of blocking fan vents, or, if deep enough, actually insulating parts, causing overheating, but unless it contains substantial amounts of corrosive or conductive material (in which case you shouldn’t be breathing it), it won’t damage the electrical components (beyond any overheating damage).

What could happen, in some circumstances, is condensation inside the box, mixing with dust and creating a conductive sludge. This would generally only occur if you bring the box in from an extremely cold environment (below 0C, roughly) into a humid indoor environment. The protection from this is to wrap the box tightly in plastic before bringing it indoors, and leave it wrapped for a couple of hours, while it has time to warm up.

You can select a noncontiguous range of cells by pressing and holding the ________ key when using it in combination with other n
leonid [27]
Hey there!

I believe your answer will be the "Shift" key. You can hold down Shift and select a cell from your current cell position to select everything between the original position and the cell you clicked on without having to drag your mouse across the cells. If you were to hold down the Ctrl or Command key, you would only have your original selection and your new selection highlighted.

Your answer will be Shift.

Hope this helped you out! :-)
