Zionism was a movement created around the end of the 80´s that aimed to create a homeland or a country that gave shelter and welcomed all jewish from the world, their own promised land, the historical Isreali land, and their effort was to create a whole nation under the faith and historical existanse of the state of Israel. This has created a lot of armed conflicts netween Israel and Palestine, primarly for control over Jerusalem and other sacred cities.
