1. In the music hall, there are 20 boxes:
Let’s find out which day has the most occupied space of the music hall.
Thursday 2/5 = 6/20
Friday = 2/4 = 7/20
Saturday = 8/10 = 10/20
We converted it to have the same denominator.
Thurs 2/5 were occupied
=> 6/20 = 0.3
=> 20 * 0.3 = 6 boxes
Friday 2/4 were occupied
=> 7/20 = 0.35
=> 20 * 0.35 = 7 boxes
Saturday 8/10 were occupied.
=> 10/20 = 0.5
=> 20 * .5 = 10 boxes
Saturday got the most occupied boxes.

The point (-2, k) lies on the line 2x – 4y + 3 = 0.
Find the value of k.
Over [174]

Answer:

k = (-1/4)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

The point (-2, k) lies on the line 2x – 4y + 3 = 0.

We need to find the value of k.

Put x = -2 and y = k in the given equation.

2(-2) – 4k + 3 = 0

-4-4k = -3

-4+3 = 4k

-1 = 4k

k = (-1/4)

So, the value of k is equal to (-1/4).
