Hitler’s coup attempt to seize power in Bavaria : Adolf Hitler and his followers also referred to as Nazis staged a coup d'etat on a Southern state in Germany called Bavaria. Their plan was to kidnapped the Commissioner of Bavaria and two other prominent leaders in the state. The coup failed and Adolf Hitler was arrested and charged with treason. He was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment. This coup occurred in the Germany from November 8 to November 9, 1923.

Great Depression: This occurred from August 1929 – March 1933. The cause or reason for the great depression was due to the crashing of the stock market. A lot of investors, companies and firms lost huge sums of money due to that crash.

There was a great decline in production of goods and services, people were no longer depositing their money in bank, this lead to bank failures.

During the great depression, there was a huge increase in the rate of unemployment as well.

Enabling Act : This was also passed into law in the year 1933.m in Germany.

The Enabling Act was a law that allowed the Head of Power in Germany to create laws that suited him with the input or involvement of the German Parliament also referred to Reichstag. This enabled such a person to be able to bypass the primary, important and essential aspects of the Weimar Constitution.

Germany invades Poland [World War – II : This occurred from 1st September, 1939 – 6th October, 1939.

Nazi leader , Adolf Hitler using the German Military troops invaded Poland. They made use of bombs on Poland and they attacked their naval forces at sea. Their aim was to take over territories in Poland as well as to rule the Polish people. British and France seeing this act by Germany declared World War II on Germany.

International Military Tribunal : The International Military Tribunal became operational on November 20th, in the year 1945. The International Military Tribunal was a tribunal that was set up in Nuremberg after the end of World War II and Germany has surrendered.

The main purpose of this tribunal was to punish Nazi leaders for the crimes that they committed. The crimes were classified as war crimes, crimes against peace, crimes against humanity e.t.c.
