The correct answer is A.

This stanza is a lyric poem because it has rhythm and rhyme. It does not fit the structure of a haiku, so D. can be eliminated. Furthermore, free and blank verse do not rhyme, as this excerpt does. Therefore, this can only be a lyric poem.

A. lyric

Lyric poem structure has both rhythm and rhyme. Each of the lines have end rhyme - the last word of the line rhymes with the last word of another line. Deep, keep and sleep all rhyme. It also has rhythm. Rhythm is created through a pattern of unstressed and stressed syllables. The other options are simply not correct. Free verse poetry does not rhyme or have meter (rhythm). Blank verse has meter but no rhyme. A haiku is a very specific structure of 3 lines. The first line has 5 syllables, the second 7 syllables, and the last 5 syllables.

Why does guck decide to steal back the sisters money? What is it about them that he has rarely encountered in other people?
krek1111 [17]

Why does Huck decide to steal back the sisters' money? What is it about them that he has rarely encountered in other people?

They are orphans who are about to lose their homes.

They are kind, generous, and friendly to him.

They are much younger than he is and will be sent away.

They are better off financially than most people.

We can actually infer here that Huck decides to steal back the sisters' money because he saw that Dauphin doesn't deserve it. Huck then hides it in a coffin.

The thing about them that he has rarely encountered in other people is that they are orphans who are about to lose their homes.

Thus, option "A" is correct.

What is Adventures of Huckleberry Finn?

"Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" is actually known to be a novel that was written by Mark Twain. It was published first in 1884.

We see that Huck actually saw that Dauphin didn't actually deserve the money.

Thus, option "A" is correct.
