It was awkward. The poem seems to describe an argument between two people. From the way it was written, it may be that the way the couple felt was what the poem is talking about. The way they walk in single file rather than side by side. They look forward instead of each other. This was probably after a very bad argument that left both people feeling bad. They don’t know what they say to each other and instead ignore each other as if something had come between them.

Which of the following claim restatements would be most appropriate to start the conclusion paragraph?
Firdavs [7]

Answer:

A. The mandate that high school seniors at Central High volunteer for a public service project is a welcome change to the high school graduation requirement.

Explanation:

Option A is the best choice for the conclusion paragraph. It restates the claim, but doesn't summarize the entire essay. The conclusion paragraph should summarize the entire essay, but not in the first sentence. Options B and C add in extra information. Conclusions should not add new facts or details, but rather remind the reader of those most important to proving the claim correct.

20 POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
n200080 [17]

Answer: The Bells, poem by Edgar Allan Poe, published posthumously in the magazine Sartain's Union (November 1849). Written at the end of Poe's life, this incantatory poem examines bell sounds as symbols of four milestones of human experience—childhood, youth, maturity, and death.

Explanation: The second stanza has wedding bells in it. These bells also bring about feelings of happiness, but in a different way. Although they have the same meaning of joy they clearly have different sounds. He also describes how they bring a sense of joy, and somewhat of a fortune, for the future.
