The Yellow River is the symbol of the Chinese nation. It has been known as the "mother river" of the Chinese nation. Chinese populations has given the river an important part of their energy focus to it, as a source of strenght, life, constant movement and development.

It could be said that the Yellow River is the birthplace of Chinese nation and the cradle of the Chinese civilization, since it has actually being the center of politics, economy and culture.

In terms of science and technology, this area is in the leading position for  an important part of the Chinese identity, starting with the creation of day-to-day tools such as potteries, silks, bronze, characters using the ingredients coming from the are, and that continued to developed into higher levels.

The river extends from the Kunlun Mountain to the Pacific Ocean, passes through the grasslands to the deserts nurturing the lands on its path. It is also the symbol of the spirit of the Chinese people in many ways.
