AMDR refers to Acceptable Macro-nutrients Distribution Range. This is a parameter, which helps to determine what proportion of the macronutrients should a person consume, in order to remain healthy.

In this case, John is an athlete and consumes a lot of fats. The proportion of fats in diet should be 20-35% for an average adult. As he is an athlete, he can take around 100-175 grams of fats everyday.

So, the correct answer is 100-175 grams per day.
