In my opinion, he wasn't a very good leader.
1st of all, he was keeping people captive for rioting the streets. I think that wasn't right because it was his fault.
2nd, he turned his own country against him! What kind of leader does that?
3rd, many people died and got injured because of him. They all started fleeing.
4th, in the book Refugee by Alan Gratz, Isabel said that he let people escape to America. Well what about the Coast Guard? They would catch most Cubans anyway and send them back to Cuba. I feel like that was a mean joke.

social life of people. This demands more self-rule. In addition, it Modernize
and Westernize India so it could resist foreigners. It showed how the larger
nations gave the smaller colonies. Thus, there were roads, canals and railways
built and the colonial governments introduced improved medical care and better
methods in sanitation. In fact, there were new crops which include tools and
farming methods which helped increase food production and these changes meant
less death to smaller colonies and overall improve the state of living.</span>
The correct answer is, the Americans felt discontent with Hoover’s decision during the Great Depression. American citizens faced the largest economic downturn ever lived in the country, major unemployment due to the fall of production in fabrics. Many people lost its job, became homeless, and due to the fall of the investments ended up in debt.
The American sentiment was painful. Many people had lost its savings and homes. American citizens blamed him for the situation, <em>although he did no cause the problems</em>. Sad and angry people considered that he allow the situation to fester and even deepened during his tenure.
