The correct answer is A.

The scientific revolution promoted reason, empiricism and experimental or observational knowledge over the previously-dominant superstitious or dogmatic beliefs that aroused from religion. Religion and its representatives had great power in medieval societies and controlled every aspect of lives, including the development of knowledge. No theory could be proved with credit if it went against the provisions of the Bible.

Universities were the dreamed location for the development of the scientific revolution because they managed to operate independently from religious institutions and powers.

What was the three-fifths compromise at the constitutional convention
IgorC [24]

Answer: B. only three-fifths of the enslaved population would be counted when calculating each state's representation in Congress.

The Three-Fifths Compromise was reached during the 1787 United States Constitutional Convention. The question was whether the slave population would count when determining a state total's population number, which would be used to determine the number of seats that each state would have in the House of Representatives.

The compromise that was reached was to count every three out of five slaves as a person for this purpose. It gave the Southern states a third more seats in Congress than if slaves had been ignored.

What is one characteristic that made the city Meroe different from Egyptian cities
ella [17]
One major difference was the locations. Meroe was built on the bottom of mountains and thus had a steady amount of rainfall, due to which the soil was fertile. Other cities in Egypt depended on the annual flooding of the Nile River in order to have good soil to plant and grow food needed for survival. This kind of flooding was really important and hence Meroe was important.
