Guerrilla Warfare is a type of irregular warfare wherein small groups of soldiers use irregular means of attack to take on a larger enemy.
The Colonists, lacking true Professional soldiers, used guerrilla warfare to take on the professional British Army who was only trained in fighting using traditional means (one army marching against another army).
This meant that the Colonists could inflict great casualties without having to face the great British Army face-to-face.

In the late 15th century<em> Askia Muhammad</em> became the emperor, military commander, and political reformer of the <em>Songhai </em>Empire. He was a devout Muslim where under his rule, Islam became an essential part of the empire. He was able to conquer much of the surrounding lands and was able to take control of the gold and salt trade from the <em>Mali </em>Empire. At its peak, the<em> Songhai </em>empire stretched over 1,000 miles from the current modern day country of Niger to the Atlantic Ocean.
He wanted to create a 'League of nations' which would be a coalition of many nations that would help prevent any future wars.
