I think that you forgot to give the picture of the circle along with the question. I am answering the question based on my research and knowledge.

The total unshaded part of the circle = (3/5 + 1/4)
                                                          = (12 + 5)/20
                                                          = 17/20
Now, the full circle can be considered = 1
Then
The total shaded part of the circle = 1 - (17/20)
                                                      = (20 - 17)/20
                                                      = 3/20
I hope that this is the answer that has actually come to your desired help.

Which function is a quadratic function? F(x) =2x^2, g(x) =5x^3,k(x)=-x,b(x)=-9x^4
Katen [24]

Answer:

F(x)=2x^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Basically, a quadratic function has x^2 in it (standard form ax^2+bx+c with non-zero a). The others have x^3, -x, x^4, etc., which clearly are NOT x^2.

yan [13]

Answer:

Estelle paid $104 in total.

Step-by-step explanation:

15% of $80.00 is 12. So add 12 two times to 80 because of 15% sales tax and 15% tip.

Flo sets a goal of walking 12,000 total steps per day. flo's normal routine involves walking 6,000 steps per day. if flo walks 1
Oksana_A [137]

She has to walk 60 minutes more to reach her goal.

Given: Flo sets a goal of walking 12,000 total steps per day. Flo's normal routine involves walking 6,000 steps per day.

To find: To Determine how many extra minutes should she walk per day beyond her normal routine?

Formula: Number of extra minutes = she walks per day beyond her normal routine / number of steps per minute

flo's normal routine involves walking steps per day= 6,000

If flo walks 100 steps per minute:

she walks per day beyond her normal routine = 12000-6000

                                                                             = 6000

Extra minutes = \frac{6000}{100}

                       = 60 minutes

Therefore, she has to walk 60 minutes more to reach her goal.
