When put in front of something new such as writing from someone else you can see it in your own perspective. Writing poetry about yourself and things that are happening you write in your own creative perspective, but it can be seen totally different than what you intend. Proper grammar and use of words goes a long way when writing about anything. Performing in front of people should be totally up to that person. If you like your writing then ask someone to read it if you don't want to. You shouldn't have to be forced to do something you don't want to.
