A store mixes Kentucky bluegrass worth $12 per pound and chewing fescue worth $16 per pound. The mixture is to sell for $15 per
SashulF [63]
Let the amount of Kentucky Bluegrass be k.
Let the amount of Chewing Fescue be c.
12k+16c=15\times372
k+c=372
c=372 - k
12k + 16(372 - k) = 15 * 372 = 5580
12k + 5952 - 16k = 5580
-4k = -372
k = 93 pounds
c = 372 - 93 = 279 pounds

A cowboy rode his horse 45 miles at 15 and then rode another 35 miles at 10 . How long did the ride last? A. 6 h B. 6.5 h C. 60
Mashutka [201]
You are given the distance of the horse of 45 miles at 15miles per hour and another 35 miles at 10 miles per hour. You are asked the total time in hours of the cowboy riding his horse. You have to get the time each mile the cowboy rode.

45 miles/15 miles per hour = 3 hours
35 miles/10 miles per hour = 3.5 hours
3 hours + 3.5 hours = 6.5 hours
So the answer is B. 6.5 hours.

Write a story that can be represented by the equation y=x+1/4x
makvit [3.9K]

This question is pretty much asking: Write a story that can be represented by the equation y=1.25x.

So, how about this one: Lily's mom tells Lily to clean up her toys. Lily puts toys away at a rate of one toy per every 1.25 seconds.

That's it, simple as that :P

PLEASE HEP ASAP IM LOST,, Which statements could be used to prove that ΔABC and ΔA′B′C′ are congruent?
ASHA 777 [7]

Answer:

 D.) AB≅A′B′, ∠A≅∠A′, and ∠C≅∠C′

Step-by-step explanation:

Option A identifies two sides and the angle not between them. The two triangles will be congruent in that case only if the angle is opposite the longest side, which is not true in general.

Option B: same deal as Option A.

Option C identifies three congruent angles, which will prove the triangles similar, but not necessarily congruent.

Option D identifies two angles (sufficient for similarity) and one side, sufficient (with similarity) for congruence. The applicable congruence theorem is AAS.
