Energy is increases as frequency increases and wavelength decreases

Explanation:

The energy of wave is a function of its wavelength and frequency .

Wavelength is distance between two successive crests of a wave.

Frequency is the number of waves that passes a point per unit time.

Energy is directly proportional to the frequency of waves. The higher the frequency of waves the higher is its energy.

     C = f ∧

  C is the velocity of light

  f is the frequency of wave

   ∧ is the wavelength of the wave

E = hf = \frac{hC}{wavelength} = hf

h is the planck's constant
