The valid conclusion would be that only the colonists' elected representatives should have the power to impose taxes.

Explanation:

The Stamp Act Congress was actually set up to raise and generate revenue from the American Colonies by a tax which they would give in the form of stamp on all the legal or commercial documents including newspapers. It also lead to a slogan "No taxation without representation". The resolution of this congress was to give the colonists proper rights and fair treatment.
