To get to know them better. If I were a director I would be looking for someone who is a nice person off-screen because you don't want to deal with a rude person, or someone who doesn't like criticism for example...

The director wants a chance to get to know the person. When a director is casting, they are keeping a lot of things in mind such as whether this is a person who takes direction or whether this person is and enjoyable person to work with. Hope this helps :)

Which material did Mound Builders use to make portrait plaques? A. Wood B. Copper or D. Clay
Korvikt [17]
The Mound Builders used metal tools, and were probably metal builders. Based on that information I would say the answer is B.Copper, because copper is a metal.

Which print was made using the woodcut process?
professor190 [17]
I'd have to go with A.  The rhino picture.  The image is composed of what looks like notches or "gouges" used by a sharp tool,  which removes certain areas by gouging them out with the tool and then leaving the actual print on the top of the surface.  Often, a sort of paint roller would be passed over the surface image.  The gouged out portions would not be pressed by the roller.  Very cool and were used in many printing presses when they used templates.
