what would happen if there were no words? We could no longer speak or write because there was no language.

If we had no language or writing I don’t think civilians and our earth would be this advanced, but I think our earth would be cleaner. I think this because if we never had words or language many inventions had people help us, and how were we supposed to build stuff and invent stuff without communication.

This is one full thought that doesn't run on for too long. The "overcome with joy" portion is the dependent clause that needs the other part "Mrs. Monroe told her husband the exciting news about her promotion" which is the independent clause. The independent clause could be its own sentence without the dependent clause, but not the other way around.
