Answer: The correct answer is C.

Explanation:

In the conclusion, the speaker provides a summary of the main and supporting ideas: saving money by grooming your dog yourself. He gives a short explanation of how you can groom your dog, which will make you develop a better bond with your pet. He ends his conclusion asking you two questions. This makes you think about or reflect upon his ideas. By ending it that way, it makes you keep thinking that groomong your dog yourself may be an excellent idea.

I'm pretty sure it is c. provoke further though because the speaker is asking the audience further questions to keep them thinking about why he is correct (i.e. why you should groom your dog yourself and not take him/her to the groomers).
Hope this helps! :)

Rewrite the sentence by correcting the misplaced modifier, squinting modifier, or dangling modifier. Tom found the memory box fo
Luda [366]

Answer:

Tom found the memory box, which was for the baby, on the dusty closet shelf.

Explanation:

The sentence contains a squinting modifier, which is a kind of misplaced modifier. It creates ambiguity and confusion because it is not clear which item it modifies: whether the previous or the following phrase. In the sentence, the squinting modifier for the baby can refer to the memory box for the baby or for the baby on the dusty closet shelf, making two possible different meanings for the same sentence.
