This sentence should be:
Ustedes mandan cartas a su abuela cada mes.

Translation:
You(formal) send letters to your grandma each month.

Ustedes- you(formal)
Mandan-send
Cartas- letters/cards
A su- to your
Abuela- grandma
Cada- each
Mes- month

The sentence you provided was grammatically incorrect since cortas means to cut and Mrs. is used to introduce a married woman which should have been mes which means month.

Hope this helps! :3

Dmitriy789 [7]

Answer:

Explanation:

This exercise stands for the preterite tense and the imperfect. The preterite is one of two simple past tenses. It is used to describe actions that took place or were completed at a certain point in the past while the imperfect is used to talk about past actions, conditions, or events that occurred regularly or frequently or that were in progress in a moment in the past. From the paragraph, this is the list of conjugations that stands either for the preterite or the imperfect:

 • Hubo comes from the verb haber and is a conjugation in the preterite

 • Vio comes from the verb ver and is a conjugation in the preterite

 • Manejaba comes from the verb manejar and it's a conjugation in the imperfect

 • Murió comes from the verb morir and it's a conjugation in the preterite

 • Tuvieron comes from the verb tener and it's a conjugation in the preterite

 • Sufrió comes from the verb sufrir and it's a conjugation in the preterite

 • Dijo comes from the verb decir and it's a conjugation in the preterite

 • Estaba comes from the verb estar and it's a conjugation in the imperfect

 • Llovía comes from the verb llover and it's a conjugation in the imperfect

 • Intentó comes from the verb intentar and it's a conjugation in the preterite

 • Perdió comes from the verb perder and it's a conjugation in the preterite

 • Pudo comes from the verb poder and it's a conjugation in the preterite

 • Lastimó comes from the verb astimar and it's a conjugation in the preterite.
