Is it to late now to say sorry?
kondaur [170]

You gotta go and get angry at all of my honesty
You know I try but I don't do too well with apologies
I hope I don't run out of time, could someone call a referee?
Cause I just need one more shot at forgiveness
I know you know that I made those mistakes maybe once or twice
By once or twice I mean maybe a couple a hundred times
So let me, oh let me redeem, oh redeem, oh myself tonight
Cause I just need one more shot at second chances

Yeah, is it too late now to say sorry?
Cause I'm missing more than just your body
Is it too late now to say sorry?
Yeah I know that I let you down
Is it too late to say I'm sorry now?

I'm sorry, yeah
Sorry, yeah
Sorry
Yeah I know that I let you down
Is it too late to say I'm sorry now?

I'll take every single piece of the blame if you want me to
But you know that there is no innocent one in this game for two
I'll go, I'll go and then you go, you go out and spill the truth
Can we both say the words and forget this?

Is it too late now to say sorry?
Cause I'm missing more than just your body
Is it too late now to say sorry?
Yeah I know that I let you down
Is it too late to say I'm sorry now?

I'm not just trying to get you back on me
Cause I'm missing more than just your body
Is it too late now to say sorry?
Yeah I know that I let you down
Is it too late to say I'm sorry now?

I'm sorry, yeah
Sorry, oh
Sorry
Yeah I know that I let you down
Is it too late to say I'm sorry now?
I'm sorry, yeah
Sorry, oh
Sorry
Yeah I know that I let you down
Is it too late to say I'm sorry now?

Which sentence is CORRECT and does not contain a dangling modifier? A) Feeling anxious, holding still was difficult. B) Screamin
JulsSmile [24]

C) The bookshelves swayed with the weight of their load.

A dangling modifier is a description that seems to be connected to the wrong noun grammatically. Sometimes they are hard to spot since our brains make the connection for us, but if you read the sentence exactly as it is, you will notice it. Option A is wrong because the modifier is "feeling anxious", but we don't know who or what is feeling anxious. Our brains know that it is the person who is having to hold still, but there is no person in the sentence. Option B is not correct because the modifier "screaming" is close to the noun "raft" in the sentence. We know that a raft cannot scream therefore the modifier is not in the right place. Option D's modifier is "missing my family". In the sentence the modifier seems to be modifying dormitory, but this doesn't make sense since a dormitory doesn't have a family or the capability to miss one.
