It appears this question has been answered before on this website quite thoroughly so I will repeat what HistoryGuy answered.
It would be the "Assyrians" who mixed with the Israelites to form the Samaritan culture, although it should be noted that not all Assyrians did so, only the ones who were settlers.
One of the chiefs who organised an armed rebellion against British colonial authority was Zulu Chief Bambatha. He was not happy with the loss of land his people suffered and the poll tax of one pound that they were forced to pay.
