I MET a traveller from an antique land Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert ... Near them, on the

sand, Half sunk, a shattered visage [face] lies, whose frown, And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command, Tell that its sculptor well those passions read Which still survive, stamped on these lifeless things, The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed; And on the pedestal these words appear: "My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!" Nothing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level sands stretch far away. Select one piece of evidence that supports the situational irony of the poem.

The irony of the poem is that Ozymandias claims to have done many great works and boasts of his might yet he lies in the middle of a desert, broken with nothing to support his claim of his deeds

We quickly settled ___ to our routine once we came back from the vacation
ollegr [7]

We quickly settled down to our routine once we came back from the vacation

Explanation:

A preposition is a word used to connect things, pronouns, or expressions to different words inside a sentence. They act to associate the individuals, articles, time and areas of a sentence. Relational words are generally short words, and they are regularly set straightforwardly before things.

A preposition is a word or set of words that shows area (in, close, next to, on) or some other connection between a thing or pronoun and different pieces of the sentence (about, after, furthermore, rather than, as per).

Alinara [238K]

Answer :

I first heard about the Holacaust in History last year. I know about this event because it was a very important event that caused a lot of lives to be lost and highlighted the terrible living conditions. I learned that it was also considered to be a war and the Jews were the main people to take place in this event.
