One pound bag cost $1.10
2 pound bag cost $1.98      which is .99 per pound
3 pound bag cost $2.85      which is .95 per pound

The more amount you buy the cheaper it is per pound.

PLEASE HELP ASAP!? Which equations in point-slope form are equations of the line that pass through the points (4, 5) and (−3, −1
faust18 [17]
I am not sure about point slope, but I can find an equation in slope-intercept form and convert it, so
y=mx+b, m=slope
slope=(y1-y2)/(x1-x2)
we have points
(4,5)
(-3,-1)
(x,y)
x1=4
y1=5
x2=-3
y2=-1
subsitute
(5-(-1))/(4-(-3))=(5+1)/(4+3)=6/7
y=6/7+b
sybsitute and solve for b
(4,5)
x=4
y=5
5=6/7(4)+b
5=24/7+b
5=35/7
subtract 24/7 from both sides
11/7=b
y=6/7x+11/7
convert to the point slope form and find equivilent fraction
since the question asks for 2 answers that are correct and only 2 of the equations have slope of 6/7 I can guess that the answers are B and C

PLZ HLP Given the equation 5x + y = 7, which equation below would cause a consistent-independent system?
DanielleElmas [232]

Answer:

the equation D ) would cause a consistent-independent system.

Step-by-step explanation:

A ) 5 x + y = 7  /*( -2 )

    10 x + 2 y = 14

    --------------------

    - 10 x - 2 y = - 14

      10 x + 2 y = 14

   ------------------------

       0 x = 0  ( Dependent system )

B ) 5 x + y = 7  / *  3

    - 15 x - 3 y = - 6

    --------------------------

    15 x + 3 y  = 21

    - 15 x - 3 y = - 6

  -------------------------

        0 x = 15 ( Inconsistent system )

C )   5 x + y = 7

       5 x + y = - 7  / * ( - 1 )

       ---------------------------

       5 x + y = 7

      - 5 x - y = 7

    ------------------

        0 x = 14  ( Inconsistent system )

D ) 5 x + y = 7  / * ( - 2 )

     6 x + 2 y = 7

     ------------------

      - 10 x - 2 y = - 14

        6 x   + 2 y = 7

      -----------------------

       - 4 x = - 7;     x = 7/4;   y = - 7/4
