People could go door to door giving their CVs and asking if there are jobs. Many people think that this isn't a way to get a job but they would be surprised how many times it works. Often companies conduct their interviews on the spot. Another way is putting billboards over the city with a brief resume, people have successfully done this throughout history too.<span />

How peter the great/Emperor Meiji are similar?
USPshnik [31]
Although japan was dominant over Russia  in the colonizing of china, japan was by far less advanced technologically than Russia. While japan had katanas and leather armor, Russia was getting into some pretty good metallurgy. It was mostly culture that swept into Russia which "westernized" it. One ship from America came to japan and that ship alone could've destroyed and burned down all of japan. That's how technologically un advanced japan was. All in all I would say its peter the great was better at the time.

What happened to John James Leigh? Please help!!!!
tatuchka [14]

Answer:

John James Leigh fled Eygpt when he found out that people were after him using his British passport. He did this prior to meeting Mr. Hasan Issa.

Another theory is that John was murdered by Hamdy Farouk after he refused to give him the cartouche. Hassan Issa never met with him but didn't raise the issue as they often received fake information.

Why did leaders choose 36 30' as the compromise line
mote1985 [20]

Settled the conflict that had arisen from Missouri's application for statehood. Neither North or south wanted each other to have a majority in the Senate by upsetting the balance of slave to free states. The compromise consisted of one Missouri admitted as a slave state, two main admitted as a free state, and three no more to slavery allowed in the Louisiana purchase north of the southern boundary of Missouri. A cause of the Civil War. Also known as the compromise of 1820, 36/30 line.
