Biomass considered a renewable resource because Using biomass as a fuel produces carbon dioxide.

Explanation:

The fuels like coal, petroleum and natural gas has an alternate which is Biomass. Carbon dioxide is released into atmosphere when the fossil fuels or biomass is burnt. The source of biomass energy is plants and they absorb the carbon dioxide that are released as a result of burning biomass through the process of photosynthesis.

The energy source of biomass comes from sun. In a shorter period of time it has the capacity of regrowing. The carbon dioxide that is released in the atmosphere when burning is absorbed by the plants and this is converted into biomass by plants. when these plants die they again release the same amount of carbon dioxide into air. When these trees are burnt they again released the same amount of carbon dioxide.

How is energy released from a molecule of ATP?
zhannawk [14.2K]

Answer:

When ATP is broken down to ADP

Explanation:

Energy is released from a molecule of ATP when the substance is broken down to ADP

ATP is the energy currency of a cell. It is called Adenosine Triphosphate

When a phosphate is removed, it become ADP - Adenosine Disphosphate.

In like manner, the breaking down releases inherent chemical energy and converts it to other forms of energy.

This is how the body system derives sufficient amount of energy for every of its activities.

When an organism undergoes cellular respiration, this is the process that is in play to release energy needed for the body to function
