Why did Renaissance humanists think that people should study classical works?
fredd [130]

Answer:

B: People could gain knowledge that would lead to a revival of the Roman Empire.

Explanation:

Renaissance according to the above choice means a revival or a renewed intrest in something.

Classica works represent the ideas and the world of the classical people.

The Roman Empire was a great milestone that some believe need not to be left in its grave forever.

Renaissance humanists, in a bid to restore what was a wonder empire in those days, choose to put their structure exact as it was in those days, the only work that could lead us to this is classical work for it has the real picture of the Roman Empire system.

Was Napoleon Bonaparte a subvetor or preserver of the ideas of the French Revolution?
marta [7]

Answer:

Napoleon Bonaparte can be viewed as both the preserver and destroyer of the French Revolution. While he certainly, institutionalized the core values of the French Revolution such as legal rights through his well known Napoleonic Code, his personal traits such as the need for conquest and power resulted in tyranny across Europe. Napoleon kept true to the revolution in the sense that his laws and codes solidly abolished the old regime and monarchy in France. At the same time however, one can argue that his rule was marked by his own self interests. That he chose which ideals of the revolution he would keep or leave out in order to maintain his power over Europe.
