What do you mean by the question?
Answer:
Throughout the story, he demonstrates bravery, leadership, loyalty, and determination. He continually thinks things through and tries to take the best course of action to protect the people surrounding him. One way he shows determination and loyalty is through his time spent with Calypso. Most men, if lost at sea for years and being held captive by a beautiful goddess, would more than likely live out the rest of their days with Calypso. Some would have given up hope and lived a life full of pleasure and anything one desires. Ulysses is suffering and misses his life in Ithaca.
Another way Ulysses demonstrates heroic behavior is his ability to overcome many dangers, from the Cyclops to other forces strongly working against him, whether that be creatures or people.
If used, make sure you put them in your own words and use actual quotes/texts from the story as this is my work. Good luck!
You might have a different mindset, things were more conservative and openly racist back in the day.
The answer is: The reader gets a sense of the author’s feelings about the dogs that were a major part of Kiowa culture.
In the excerpt from "The Way to Rainy Mountain," the author Scott Momaday uses the first-person point of view to make readers understand and be aware of the narrator's feelings and motives. In other words, the first-person point of view makes the reader go inside the character's mind. As a result, they are able to learn the narrator's thoughts and see the events of the story through his or her eyes.
The rest of the alternatives are incorrect because the passage does not provide information about the role of dogs in the Kiowa culture.
