The difference is when you draw by memory you won't remember every tiny detail, and you make/draw it in your own way vs. having the object in front of you you can copy it almost exactly.

Explain briefly when it's best to choose a major scale for writing a melody.
Andrew [12]

Answer:

A scale is a set of musical notes ordered by fundamental frequency or pitch. A scale is usually ordered by increasing pitch and is called an ascending scale. Scales generally span a single octave. Scales help you understand music, how to solo, improvise, analyse chords, chord progressions and songs among many other aspects of music.

5. What time signature is this song in? How do you know?
00:23
03:28
Ivanshal [37]

Answer:

A song with a time signature of 4/4 has four beats in a measure, and is counted like this: 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4, etc. By far, 4/4 is the most common time signature you'll run into. In fact, 4/4 is so common that it is often called common time.

The time signature is written at the beginning of the staff after the clef and key signature. Time signatures consist of two numbers written like a fraction. The top number of the time signature tells you how many beats to count. This could be any number.
