There isn't anything wrong with the pattern. The pattern is made up of 1s and 2s. It seems that the pattern will continue to go on forever and ever and will never come to an end.
The pattern has two ones (like so, 11) and one two (again, like so, 2) which creates the pattern 112112112112112112112... forever and ever.
