That's because, the lockdown was stipulated to protect the population from a highly contagious disease and without drugs that could control it. This measure was adopted as a way of not increasing cases of infection to the point that hospitals were overcrowded with patients. At that time, we knew that there would be a strong economic impact and for that reason, we would need an intelligent and effective government that would promote guidelines to reduce that impact, without exposing its population to danger. Unfortunately, we do not have this type of government, moreover, the government we have does not assume its economic mismanagement and blames economic problems in the attempt of health organizations to protect a population, where the majority do not have resources to be treated in hospitals and survive.
