Once the creature has learned how to satisfy his basic needs, he learns language and then how to read.
dusya [7]

Answer:

The Monster learns to speak by spying on the DeLacey family. He lives for over a year in a “hovel,” a small shed attached to the DeLaceys’ cottage. Through a chink in the wall, the Monster can see and hear everything that happens inside the cottage. He learns to speak by listening to the DeLaceys. When Felix DeLacey’s fiancée Safie arrives, the Monster is able to learn more: Safie is Turkish, and the Monster overhears Felix teaching her French as well as the history and politics of Europe. The Monster learns to read when he finds three books abandoned on the ground: Paradise Lost, Plutarch’s Lives and The Sorrows of Werter. These books point to major themes of the novel. Plutarch’s Lives is about the “great men” of history, which reminds us that the Monster exists because of Frankenstein’s ambition to be great. The Sorrows of Werter is a novel about the alienation of a young man, which underlines the alienation of both the Monster and Frankenstein. Paradise Lost, by the English poet John Milton, is the most significant of the three books. It tells the Biblical story of Adam and Eve, focusing on Satan’s ambition and alienation from God. The Monster frequently compares himself to both Satan and Adam.

What does the creature learn from this book? How much of a monster can someone be who can say "but when I heard details of vice and bloodshed, my wonder ceased, and I turned away with disgust and loathing"?

The creature learns all about the history of civilization and all the wars man has waged on one another.

What happens when the creature begins to think about himself? How does he compare with the humans described in the book? What questions does he ask himself? How does his knowledge make him feel?

The creature realizes he is the only one in existence. Like himself he is monstrously ugly and he is utterly alone. He asks, "What am I?" and "Who am I?" He feels absolute misery.

What are the three books that the creature reads, and what does he learn from each of them?

Plutarch's "Lives", Goethe's "Sorrows of Werter", and Milton's "Paradise Lost". He learns of man's cruel history of war in "Lives", of man's melancholic nature in "Sorrows of Werter" and the noble thoughts of man in "Paradise Lost".

The poet organizes the poem into eight stanzas of four lines each. Explain why the poet most likely organizes the poem this way.
Effectus [21]

Answer:

Explanation:

All that we compose has a particular structure. An instant message is short and loaded up with slang, an email is arranged like a letter, and an article is in formal sections. These different structures add to the general importance or message of the composition. Consider structure how the parts in a bit of writing are assembled. Writers will cautiously consider the structure of each bit of composing in light of the fact that changing the parts will change the entire message.

Verse is writing written in stanzas and lines that utilization beat to communicate emotions and thoughts. Writers will give specific consideration to the length, position, and gathering of lines and stanzas.Lines or entire stanzas can be adjusted so as to make a particular impact on the peruser.

Another part of the structure of sonnets is the cadence, which is the beat of the sonnet. This is normally estimated in meters, which are sets of focused and unstressed syllables. Artists frequently mastermind words as per meter so as to make explicit sounds or beats.
