Answer:

The answer to your question is  Equations 1, 2 and 5 are equivalent

Step-by-step explanation:

1.- Equation 1

    2 + x = 5              x = 5 - 2         x = 3

2.- Equation 2

    x + 1 = 4               x = 4 - 1         x = 3

3.- Equation 3

    9 + x = 6             x = 6 - 9         x = -3

4.- Equation 4

   x + (-4) = 7           x - 4 = 7          x = 7 + 4             x = 11

5.- Equation 5

   -5 + x = -2            x = 5 - 2         x = 3

abruzzese [7]
36% of 80

First, you multiply 36 and 80.

36*80 = 2880

Now, we divide that by 100.

2880/100 = 28.8

Our final answer: 28.8

Need help with this problem its really complicated for me
ddd [48]

You can write a proportion because the two triangles are similar

\frac{x}{x-2} = \frac{x + x + 5}{x + 1 + x - 2} (the second fraction is longer because I added the full lengths of the larger triangle)  cross multiply to get (x)(x + 1 + x - 2) = (x - 2)(x + x + 5)

which simplifies to (x)(2x - 1) = (x - 2)(2x + 5)

then 2x² - x = 2x² + 5x -4x - 10

then 2x² - x = 2x² + x - 10

then 2x² = 2x² + 2x - 10

subtract 2x² from both sides to get 0 = 2x - 10

add 10 to both sides to get 10 = 2x

divide both sides by 2 to get 5 = x

2. (-5+ 6n to the 3rd power) + (1- 2n to the 2nd power)
Alja [10]
I think it would -4 + 6n to the power of 3 - 2n to the power of 2. I could be wrong. If so, you can report it as an error or something.
