<span> One of the ways in which Benjamin Franklin mastered English was to "translate" a text by first paraphrasing it, writing it again as a poem, and then moving it back to prose. By this method, he made sure that he understood everything a text was saying by saying it in his own words. Imitate Benjamin Franklin by selecting a news story on a current event. Translate it into a brief short story (add characters, suspense, etc.) or a poem. Then reflect on and write about how form influences the outcome of your text.

Write an essay on equality or non discrimination
kari74 [83]

answer:

what is equality? equality is when every person is given the same opportunities regardless of gender, race, sexuality or religion, social status, or economic status. it was once said that all men are created equal, this sadly have never been the case & is not the case in today’s society, due to the fact that there is bias against an individual’s race, religion, and sexual orientation.  the world is beautiful because of diversity, but when it comes to race and social equality, achieving true equality can prove to be very difficult because in 2020 people still face prejudice and inequality.

hope this helped <3

Describe the structure of government under the Articles of Confederation (how many branches ), its strengths , its weaknesses ,
myrzilka [38]

Answer: The national government consisted of a unicameral (one-house) legislature (often called the Confederation Congress); there was no national executive or judiciary. Delegates to Congress were appointed by the state legislatures, and each state had one vote. The Articles of Confederation came into effect on March 1, 1781, after being ratified by all 13 states.

Explanation:

STRENGTH OF ARTICLES OF CONFEDERATION.

(1) The Government successfully waged a war for independence against the British.

(2) The Government successfully negotiated to put an end to the American Revolution in the Treaty of Paris, signed in 1783.

(3) Government granted the free inhabitants of each state “all the privileges and immunities of free citizens in the several states.”

(4) Government established the Departments of Foreign Affairs, War, Marine, and Treasury.

WEAKNESS OF ARTICLE OF CONFEDERATION

(1) One vote was allocated for each state, despite the size of its population.

(2) No national court system was established to protect the rights of U.S. citizens.

(3) No executive branch was established to enforce laws.

(4) Congress had no power to print money, therefore each state developed its own

currency.

(5) Congress was unable to impose taxes; it could only borrow money on credit.
