The easiest way to solve a fraction would be to just divide the numerator by the denominator.<span />

Here is your answer:

To add fractions:

\frac{1}{2} + \frac{1}{2}

Find the common denominator which is two:

Now add:

1 + 1 = 2 = 2/2 = 1

Subtract:

Practically do the same as adding:

\frac{1}{2} - \frac{1}{2}

Find the common denominator then subtract...

Multiply:

When doing this just multiply the numerator by the other numerator and the denominator by the other denominator:

\frac{1}{2} \times \frac{1}{2} = \frac{1}{2}

Dividing:

Use KCF: (Keep, Change, Flip)

\frac{1}{2} \div\frac{1}{2} --> \frac{1}{2} \times\frac{2}{1} =\frac{2}{2} =1

Hope this helps!

What is the arithmetic sequence in this problem . help plz
adell [148]

Answer:

<u>a(n)=80*(9/10)^(n-1)</u>

Step-by-step explanation:

I think u r confused

this sequence is geometric not arithmetic

HOw we know that ??

when we get a common difference  <u>that must Be equal  </u>

d=72-80=-8  not equal to  d=64.8-72=-7.2

So it is not arithmetic

but when we get the common ratio that also must <u>be equal </u>

r=72/80=9/10 equal to   r=64.8/72=9/10

So it is geometric

By using this equation:

a(n)=a*r^(n-1)

and we have <u>a=80 , r=9/10</u>

Then       <u>a(n)=80*(9/10)^(n-1)</u>

<em>I really hope this helps <3</em>

4x + 5y = 3<br>kx + 15y = 9 find k<br>
9966 [12]

Answer:

12

Step-by-step explanation:

4x + 5y = 3 ................ (i)

kx + 15y = 9................(ii)

Dividing eqn (ii) by 3, we get,

k/3 x + 5y = 3.............(iii)

Subtracting eqn (iii) by eqn (i), we get,

-4x - k/3 x = 0

or, -(4 - k/3 )x = 0

or, 4 - k/3 = 0/x

or, 4 - k/3 = 0

or, 4 = k/3

or, k = 4*3

:. k = 12 (Ans)
