I assume this is referring to the Great Depression.

To summarize, spending dropped dramatically, unemployment skyrocketed, the amount of people looking for work paved the way for reform and for people to work together, almost all banks closed, trading was near non existent at the time, people were homeless because they couldn’t afford their mortgage, farmers were forced to lower all of their crop prices due to the surplus they grew in preparation for the war, and a majority of children quit their current education in order to assist their parents working.

An active American citizen should be concerned about being active on which of the following levels: i. Local ii. National iii. I
tangare [24]

- - - - - - - - - - - - - ~Hello There!~ - - - - - - - - - - - - -

➷ I would assume it to be B. i and ii. I wouldn't see any reason for an active American citizen to be involved with worldwide matters.

Why did plans for the mobilization of european armies in 1914 have to be so vast and complex?
Shtirlitz [24]
That's because they were preparing for the biggest war in human history. This was the policy of militarism where building up a military was necessary to ensure that the people could fight against others. The number of soldiers in European armies increased twice in size in only 20 years between the 1890s and 1910s.
