Answer:

within writing a story I would create a brief on the storyline(characters, theme, setting etc...) then elaborate on the language types that I am going to use. then I would continue to understand who my target audience is and what they would most likely expect and then I would go back and make sure I have used a storyline that will intrigue and satisfy readers. I would start the story with a brief of the character(main) and include the settings description and also inform the reader on how and what is going on presently in the story.

Answer:

A long time ago at nightime, our neighbor came to my house and told me there was a duckling making noises and running back and forth at Pasquale's Pizza Company. They said that he was probably looking for food or something...so I went to Pasquale's and I saw the duckling, he was so cute and I loved him so much, he was very scared because it was night time, he seemed cold too, and he let me pick him up and put him in a blanket all nice and cozy. He did not have his parents there, he got lost and distracted and now he is alone forever. I felt so bad for  him, then  our neighbors and people there at they pizza place said i should just raise him until he is way bigger, so I did. :) he was the cutest thing i ever saw. He loved me and I loved him, I named him Pasquale....but sometimes i name him "MANOLEEEE" :]. He was super good to take care of, and very fluffy too. Pasquale would follow me most everywhere I went. Then months later he was a big duck and he was ready to go and make some friends and have a girlfriend! So, i let him out, and said goodbye, but EVERY single day he would visit to get fed and to stay awhile, then he goes back to his girlfriendS. He had a lot of girlfriends. Then for awhile we were doing the same thing and his girlfriends came to eat too.  but now he is not here at all, he has not visited in a LONG time, only his girlfriends and friends, but I know that he did always go on the street and sit down so everyday i wake up and look out my window he is sleeping on the street and everyday i have to save him. but now months have passed and i dont see him he hasnt visited and i hope he is still alive, or maybe he is on a duck honeymoon......or marriage....i cannot believe he would not invite me to his wedding though....but anyway, hopefully i will see him again. <3

What mental shift does Henry Wadsworth Longfellow make in the poem "The Rainy Day"?
konstantin123 [22]
The poem The Rainy Day by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow tells the story of an older man who is having one of many depressing days. He is depressed because his youth is lost, yet he continues to dwell on the past instead of looking to the future. Eventually he realizes that everyone has sorrowful moments in their life, and must learn to deal with them and move on. At the end of the poem he develops a sense of hope, which is one of the themes of the poem. The speaker is speaking directly to the reader in 3rd person omniscient point of view. The tone of the poem is gloomy and dark, but at the end the speaker finds hope and the tone changes to hopeful because he realizes that this kind of thing must happen to everyone and he has to learn to deal with it.
