Impact of word choice in the poem the journey :

This poem written by Mary Oliver brings out the obstacles that one must face before choosing a new path. In this poem the poet brings about the person’s struggle in finding the meaning in the relationship and in oneself.

We must leave a dark situation and must bold enough to find a new path which is more positive. A person must find a new way and must be able to leave the dark path and must find the new path instead of being a broken individual.

Answer:

The Journey.

Explanation:

The poem called "The Journey" was written by Mary Oliver. It is a poem that shows us the difficulties a person must face in life when choosing a new path. This poem focuses on what we should leave behind. For example, sometimes we have negative thoughts and there is a need to leave behind what makes us feel bad. So this poem focuses on the way of finding a new path with positive goals, thoughts, etc. As a conclusion, I could say that this poem states the necessity for change.
