Answer:

The Abrahamic religions are the monotheistic faiths that recognize a spiritual tradition identified with Abraham. The term is mainly used to refer collectively to Christianity, Judaism and Islam, to which others like Bahaism, the Samaritans, the Mandeans and the Druze are sometimes added. Abrahamic religions account for a little more than half of the world's population of believers, some 3.8 billion faithful.

There are a number of common aspects between Judaism, Christianity and Islam:

-Monotheism. The three religions claim to be clever, although Jews and Muslims sometimes argue that the doctrine of the Trinity (adopted by most Christians) constitutes polytheism.

-A prophetic tradition. The three religions recognize figures called "prophets," although the lists differ, as do the interpretations of their prophetic role.

-Semitic origins. Judaism and early Christianity originated in the Jewish people, while Islam originated in the Arab people.

-A basis in divine revelation instead of, for example, philosophical speculation or custom.

-An ethical orientation. The three religions speak of a choice between good and evil, which is associated with obedience or disobedience to God and the Divine Law.

-A linear concept of history, beginning with the creation and concept that God works through history and ending with the resurrection of the dead and the Last Judgment.

-Association with the desert, which some commentators believe gave these religions a particular ethos.

-Acceptance of some religious obligations of Judaism found in the Bible as a spiritual devotion to the traditions of Abraham and Moses for Christianity and for Islam, including those that have parallel narratives in the Koran, such as the stories of Adam, Noah, Abraham and Moses.

Why would someone argue that the Electoral College system should remain the same
elixir [45]
The Electoral College should remain the same for various reasons. First, if it were not for the Electoral College, large states, such as California, would largely control the nation. The Electoral College is designed to maximize states' rights. For example, if the U.S. were a direct democracy, Hillary Clinton would have been elected as our president, even though approximately 90% states supported Trump. With the Electoral College, each state has 2-3 Electors for each Political Party. If the majority of the state votes for Hillary, the democratic electors for that specific state get the vote. If the majority of the state votes for Trump, the Republican electors get the vote. The system is designed to maximize sates' rights and avoid impulsive, mass decisions.
