History

The correct answer is - B. Caste-based discrimination has been outlawed.

Both India and Pakistan had a very long history in practicing the caste system in their society, at the end of the day, they were the same country until recently.

The caste system and the discrimination that is was bringing with it though, were outlawed in both of this countries, so it has been mostly abandoned.

In India, nowadays, the democracy is the official system, while the caste system is only present in rural areas far away from the urban centers, but even those are in decline constantly.

Pakistan, on the other hand, is widely practicing the Sharia Law, and there's no caste system practice in the country at all.
