Write a paragraph in which you compare and contrast this statue of Shiva to the statues of Buddha you have seen.

Answer:

This statue is sitting like the Buddha statues, and two of its hands are in the meditation position. The statue also has a dot between its eyes, an urna, which is also found in Buddhism. There are many differences as well. The Shiva has four arms, not just two, and it is holding objects in two of its hands. It also has a snake around its neck, an image that is not seen in the Buddha statues.

Both statues actually pretty much the same in term of grandness, usage, and expression. But what caught my eyes is the snakes on shiva's statue. Both figure are regarded as supreme being that could guide their believers. But in the snake in shiva's statue indicates that he's destroying evil while actually working alongside with danger all the time.
