Saunder talks about how being being selfish is partly human nature, the idea to prioritize ourselves over other’s while in our hearts we really want to be “a little less selfish”. He creates a “rhetoric effect” using humor and anecdotes while being authentic and genuine. He also tells the audience that we should “always keep kindness into perspectives, even whilst trying to reach the zenith of success and ambition”. Saunder’s speech is unique, while also moving and powerful.

Explanation:

Dear principal Mcginley,

Hey I wanted to kindly let you know, That I don't like how the teachers have been treating students. I don't like how the teachers talk to us in class. the other day I had a nose bleed. I asked mrs. Jones if I could go to the nurse. She was very rude. I was wondering if you could make it a rule that when something like that happened that they are required to let you go to the nurse for safety reasons?
