Question 3- What result did declaring independence have on the colonial charters?
Elena L [17]

Answer:

C. It helped bring all the colonies closer together

This was the result did declaring independence have on the colonial charters.

Explanation:

Declaration of Independence is an event that is referred to as one of the most crucial events in the history of America. It played an important role in the liberation of America from the colonialism of the British rule by uniting all the colonies.

Before the declaration, there were quite a few colonists who desired to get complete freedom from Great Britain. When the Revolutionary War against the British colonial rule was in its initial stages, there was only minor support towards independence.

When independence was declared, it brought all the colonies together as states against colonialism. This event all alone marked the beginning of the formation of The United States.
