Approximately how much of the planet is covered in water?

Geography

The oceans cover around 70 percent of the Earth's surface - so at least two-thirds (the other options one half and one-forth are out, since they're less than that)

The different sources mention 70, 71 and 72 percent - but they refer mostly to the oceans.

The exact answer is problematic, as it's only an estimation and it depends also on seasonal rivers which are not stable - but since even 72% of earth is covered by oceans, then i would say we can add the lakes and rivers and we will end up with 75% - answer d) (but i can imagine that some tests, depending on their sources want you to answer b)

According to the Tenth Amendment, the powers of________ are limited to only
Travka [436]

Answer:

the federal government

Explanation:

The Tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution restricts the federal government's powers to those specified in the Constitution and its amendments, leaving all other powers to the states and "the general population." This is significant in light of the fact that the federal government has only recently defined forces, which are limited to those "recorded" in the Constitution, otherwise known as identified forces. Without that constraining modifier, the federal government, specifically Congress, has been held to have unenumerated powers under what is known as the "necessary and proper" provision (Article I, Section 8), which allows Congress to make any laws that are necessary and proper to carry out the listed obligations, those that are specifically named. The manner in which the crucial and valid provision was integrated has been deciphered to imply that it encompasses many powers.

In this illustration, which site is an oceanic spreading center?
xz_007 [3.2K]

Answer:  'A' is the response.

Explanation:   The diagram A appears to show a location where magma is rising as a result of an upwelling convection current in the magma, which could cause the sea bottom to spread. The spreading of the crust is indicated by the arrows. This will become a focal point for the spreading marine floor.
