History

Answer:

It is important to understand that Sanskrit is not a national language. This is the language of the cultural environment. Initially, Sanskrit was used as the common language of the priestly class, while the ruling classes preferred to speak Prakrit. Sanskrit finally becomes the language of the ruling classes already in late antiquity in the Gupta era (4th – 6th centuries AD), which can be judged by the complete crowding out of prakrit from cave art in this era, as well as by the flourishing of Sanskrit literature. Thus, it is believed that the bulk of Sanskrit literature was written precisely in the era of the Gupta Empire.

What is increased to increase revenue that people generally don't like
julia-pushkina [17]

Answer: Prices

Explanation:

There are several ways to raise revenue from sales and one of them is to increase prices. With a higher price, more money will be paid per goods and if the cost is still the same, the increase in price becomes extra profit.

Increased prices however reduce the amount of money that consumers have after purchases so they do not like it when prices are increased. It reduces the amount of goods they can buy especially if their wages do not go up as well because they will have to spend more per good.
