Answer:

a. The black dog barked loudly as he passed on the sidewalk the mailman.

Explanation:

Rmemeber that fluency in writting refers to the writting in which words como out naturally, with a constant flow and rhythm. In other words, by reading a fluent sentences, the reader won't have any trouble undestanding it easily.

In this case option A. isn't very fluent as it drives the reader to confusion.

"The black dog barked loudly as he passed on the sidewalk the mailman."

The placing of the word "mailman" makes it feel akward an unnatural. it is kind of repeating itself, being redundant.

It would be better to put it like this:

"The black dog barked loudly as the mailman passed on the sidewalk."

What universal theme does this selection suggest?
Wewaii [24]

Answer:

The universal theme this selection suggests is:

A) Weddings are joyous occasions.

Explanation:

The reason why the women are picking flowers in the poem "Prothalamion " by Edmund Spenser is that they are getting married. Weddings are joyous occasions, and so the brides are happily choosing flowers for their bouquets. This is a simple and small moment of celebration as they choose flowers to adorn one of the most important days of their lives. Therefore, I believe letter A is the best option.

Eddi Din [679]

Huck and Jim were happy as the civilization was worse for them to live in/survive than the wildness of the river. As they both want freedom Jim from slavery and Huck from the society and civilized world.

It is so because it was the civilized world that gave Huck grief, but found himself happy, free, comfortable, and satisfied when he was alone and down to the riverside.

Huck and Jim see nature as the best way to leave society and civilization and his journey down the river confirms this view of nature in the novel. They float down the river they contemplate the sights surrounding the river bank.
