Answer:

Economic dependency prevented the poorer countries to modernize themselves.

Explanation:

According to the dependency theory, Richer countries tend to exploit the poorer country by dominating their job listing and trade network.

This will lead to a situation where the people in poorer countries become extremely dependent to the decisions and opportunities provided by the richer countries.

Since the poorer country only received small cuts of the profit, they wouldn't have enough money to be invested in research and development. In the end, the poorer countries will became economically dependent toward the richer countries and they are no able to modernize their own infrastructure to improve their own economy.

ICE Princess25 [194]

Answer:

It is based on dogmatism.

Explanation:

While Skepticism is a term in philosophy, which is considered as a behavior, or a form of doubt in relation to the truth of a particular thing or situation. It stated that absolute certain knowledge is impossible.

On the other hand, Unmitigated skepticism which is a form of skepticism, claims that categorically and dogmatically it knows that no one knows anything. This appears contradictory and apparently self-defeating.

Hence, among some of the reasons why unmitigated skepticism is difficult for a person to consistently hold as a serious philosophical position is because it dogmatically accept a position or knowledge that no one knows anything, which is self-defeating and contradictory.
