The function H(t) = −16t2 + 75t + 25 shows the height H(t), in feet, of a baseball after t seconds. A second baseball moves in t

he air along a path represented by g(t) = 5 + 5.2t, where g(t) is the height, in feet, of the object from the ground at time t seconds.
Part A: Create a table using integers 2 through 5 for the 2 functions. Between what 2 seconds is the solution to H(t) = g(t) located? How do you know? (6 points)

Part B: Explain what the solution from Part A means in the context of the problem. (4 points)

For part A just plug the numbers 2 through 5 for t for both function and see what numbers r the same and for part b it means that the two baseballs r gonna have the same height after t seconds

Answer and Explanation :

Given : The function   shows the height H(t) H(t)=-16t^2+75t+25, in feet, of a projectile after t seconds.

A second object moves in the air along a path represented by g(t) = 5 + 5.2t, , where g(t) is the height, in feet, of the object from the ground at time t seconds.

To find :  Part A - Create a table using integers 2 through 5 for the 2 functions. Between what 2 seconds is the solution to H(t) = g(t) located?

Part B - Explain what the solution from Part A means in the context of the problem.

Solution :

For Part A -

Substitute the value of t from 2 to 5 in the equation H(t) and g(t)

t        H(t)=-16t^2+75t+25          g(t) = 5 + 5.2t

2       -16(2)^2+75(2)+25=111      5 + 5.2(2)=15.4

3       -16(3)^2+75(3)+25=106    5 + 5.2(3)=20.6

4       -16(4)^2+75(4)+25=69     5 + 5.2(4)=25.8

5       -16(5)^2+75(5)+25=0       5 + 5.2(5)=31

To determine the interval in which H(t)=g(t), we have to plot the equation and the table points and see the intersection.

Refer the attached figure below.

The intersection point of both the equations are (4.632,29.088)

This point lies between t at 4 to 5.

Therefore, H(t)=g(t) between t=4 to t=5.

For Part B -

The Part A shows that the projectile destroyed along the path are same in interval [4,5] and gives the solution of equation.

This month the Middle School Media newspaper has 25 pages. Twenty-five schools order the paper for each of their students. Each
Georgia [21]

Answer:

The total number of pages in all the newspaper is 390,625 pages

Step-by-step explanation:

The number of pages in the newspaper = 25 pages

The number of schools ordering the newspaper = 25 schools

The number of class rooms in each school = 25 classrooms

The number of students in each classroom = 25 students

Therefore;

The total number of pages in all the newspaper = 25 pages per paper × 25 schools × 25 classroom per school × 25 students per classroom

The total number of pages in all the newspaper = 25 × 25 × 25 × 25 = 25⁴

The total number of pages in all the newspaper = 25⁴ = 390,625 pages

Simplify 4 + 3 W equals -5
LuckyWell [14K]

First, we pass the other number subtracting, like this:

3W = -9

Then we pass the number 3 dividing, like this:

W = \frac{-9}{3}

So, the answer is: W = -3.

Hope this helped! c:

What is a square root of a number
icang [17]
Finding the square root of a number is the inverse operation of squaring that number. Remember, the square of a number is thatnumber times itself. The perfect squares are the squares of the wholenumbers. The square root of a number, n, written below is the number that gives n when multiplied by itself.

Graham sold 6 magazines less than double what Adrianne sold, a. Which of the following expressions represents Graham's sales
mrs_skeptik [129]

Answer: 2a-6=g

Step-by-step explanation:

2a-6=g

2 times the amount Adrianne sold minus 6 equals the amount Graham sold.

NOTE: I don’t know which option this is because you did not provide it, so please just select the one that contains my answer (or something similar with just different variables, both variables have to be different though).
