In this sentence there are two infinitives (<em>to try, to write</em>) and they are beside each other, but one does not contain the other. So, both second and last answers are correct. The first answer is also correct because this sentence is correctly written, as in English it is perfectly acceptable to use two infinitives in a row.

So, the only answer which is wrong is the third one, because no infinitive is inside another infinitive phrase.
