Explosions occurring in magma chambers

The second type of eruption caused by tectonic plates is when the plates move away from each other allowing magma to rise and fill the the gap, which can cause a gentle explosion of thin lava of temperatures between 800 to 1,200C

ANSWER:

When an explosion occurs in magma chambers, the volcano erupts. The buildup of pressure on the chamber lid breaks the lid forcing the magma out through the cracks to the atmosphere in full force.

EXPLANATION:

 • Deep inside the Earth's core, the temperature is extremely high.
 • The layers of molten rocks on the core melt due to extremely high melting temperature and transform into magma.
 • Magma contains different gases such as Sulphur dioxide, carbon dioxide, water vapor, etc.
 • Magma along with the gases is sealed tightly in the magma chambers.
 • As the magma begins to melt more rocks, the gases also expand increasingly, building huge pressure on the chamber lid.
 • The chamber lid can no longer hold any more pressure and as a result, an eruption occurs.

Which of the following explains the diffusion and successful cultivation of many plants and animals in new regions of the world
den301095 [7]

Answer: 2. The plants and animals diffused to a region with climate and geography similar to that of their point of domestication.

Explanation:

Knowledge of the centres of origin of plants and animals has increasingly improved. it is much harder to identify the way through which plants and animals were distributed, by what roads and what means they arrived at one place or another, who brought them and who diffused them.

One very important note is that plants and animals diffused to a region with climate and geography similar to that of their point of domestication which makes them survive and develop to the stage of harvest.

Order the events to describe a rock's progression from igneous to
valentinak56 [21]

Explanation:

Lava Cools on the side of a volcano

Storms erode the hardened lava

Particles of hardened water settle at the bottom of lakes

Layers of sediments bond underwater

Plate movement bakes sedimentary layers.

Since the transition is from igneous to sedimentary to metamorphic rocks;

 • Lava which is magma or molten rock that reaches the surface cools and solidifies to form a volcano.
 • Weathering and erosion of the volcano then proceeds and sediments are formed
 • The sediments are further carried underwater where they harden at bottom of lakes.
 • Layers of the sediments bond and cements together underwater to form sedimentary rocks.
 • Tectonic activities further bakes the layers to form metamorphic rocks.

What increases air turbulence to extract dust and other debris from air traveling through the nasal cavity?
adell [148]
Nasal conchae and meatuses Nasal conchae, also known as nasal turbinates, are curved shelves of spongy bones forming in the walls of human nose. The nasal conchae function is to regulate the airflow through the nasal passages to provide rapid warming and humidifies air as it passes to the lungs. The nasal conchae divides the nasal cavity into ducts or meatuses, this are the passages in the nasal cavity formed by the projections of the nasal conchae.
